Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the KEYUP website, waitlist, and the KEYUP application (together, the “Service”), operated by the individual developer of KEYUP (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What KEYUP is
KEYUP is a Windows companion application for Euro Truck Simulator 2 (ETS2). It reads your live in-game telemetry and answers spoken questions about your run through a push-to-talk, CB-radio-style interface. KEYUP is an independent, unofficial companion tool. It is not made by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to SCS Software or Euro Truck Simulator 2 in any way. You need a legitimate, separately purchased copy of Euro Truck Simulator 2 to use KEYUP.
2. Pre-launch status and the waitlist
KEYUP has not been publicly released yet. Joining the waitlist with your email address is free, is not a purchase, and does not create any payment obligation. It reserves the launch discount and Discord invite described on the site for the email you submit. We may change the exact launch perks, timeline, or discount percentage before release; if we do, the site and your confirmation email will reflect the current terms at the time.
3. Purchase, pricing, and refunds
KEYUP is offered as a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring billing. The price shown at checkout at the time you buy is the price that applies. If KEYUP doesn't work for you, contact us and we'll refund your purchase; we handle this personally and in good faith rather than through a fixed automated window, but we'll always ask you to reach out within a reasonable time of your purchase.
4. License
When you purchase KEYUP, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on your own devices for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer for the purpose of building a competing product, or claim KEYUP as your own work.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law, to abuse, spam, or scrape the waitlist or website, or to interfere with the Service's normal operation. We may suspend access for accounts or activity that does this.
6. No warranty
KEYUP is built and maintained by one person. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every ETS2 setup, mod list, or hardware configuration.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to KEYUP is limited to the amount you paid for it.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as KEYUP moves from waitlist to launch and beyond. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
